The platform of Vuka! Coalition for Civic Action has the primary objective to support the application and adaptation of the Civicus Monitor’s methodology to empower civil society actors to collect data, create dialogues and take collective action on issues to address restrictions on civic space. It monitors the state of civic freedoms and organises action against restrictions.

The platform is conceived as a secure place for allies to connect and share information. It includes a mechanism to report incidents and two ‘rooms’ – an incident room and emergency room to broker support.
